Disabilities Resources

An online magazine published by disabled Canadian students. Site contains colorful articles on the lives and experiences of people with disabilities.

Site dedicated to protecting and expanding rights and opportunities for the ten million blind or visually impaired Americans.

Site created by a nurse for students with disabilities. The site includes stories, resources and expert advice for the parents and teachers of students with disabilities. It also contains comments from youth with disabilities about how their teachers’ actions or comments have helped or embarrassed them.

Site dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. Best Buddies has more than 1,200 national and international chapters.

Site focused on career employment of college graduates with disabilities. Includes an extensive resources page that contains links to disability statistics, information on blindness, deafness and other topics.
